STUDENTS’ SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS

2018-19

  • Vedant Chaudhari have been selected for South Africa tour of GARY KIRSTEN cricket academy, India.
  • Supriya Wakchaure has participated in STATE YOUTH PARLIAMENT.

2017-18

  • Vaibhav G. Thube and Kaustubh Pramod Thakare have received patent in Intellectual property INDIA.
  • Yash S. Malwadkar has been awarded with first prize in Best thesis Awards competition.
  • Kaustubh Thakare, Ganeshkumar Shrikrushna Kharat and Tanmay S. Khambekar awarded with first prize and Vivek Wagh, Kalpesh R Salunkhe, Shubham D.Salunkhe, Nikhil Y. Sangar, Anis A. Shaikh and Akshay P. Talatkar awarded with third prize in Padma Shri B. G. Shirke Vidyarthi Competition (PCERF).

2016-17

  • Chakradhar Reddy, Ronit Kharde have secured 2nd rank in Youth festival 2016-2017, Pune division selection test competition in ‘Debate’ and selected for next round.
  • Roshan Bora, Janhavi Kulkarni, Aishwarya Mate, Bhavana Patil, Alasha Shirke and Amol Wagh have participated in AESA, project Competition for the BE project titled, “Provision of Environmental floor with staged onsite wastewater treatment units on high rise buildings with hydraulic and structural feasibility”  and secured second Rank.

2015-16

  • Mr. Ketan Gunjal, Mr. Shubham Jain, Mr. Hamidullah, Ms. Mauri Gaikwad, Ms. Priyanka Darekar and Mr. Gaurav Patil represented Savitribai Phule Pune University.  Presented the research project in UG category (Engineering and Technology) on “Experimental study on durability aspects of reactive powder concrete” in “AVISHKAR-2015 ” September 23- 2015, being in the top 3 teams at Zonal level under Savitribai Phule Pune University.
  • Preyansh Gupta Published Paper in 2nd International Conference on Innovative research in Mechanical Electrical Electronics Civil Computer Science and Information Technology organised by Krishi Sankriti during 22nd and 23th Aug 2015 at Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi.
  • Tanmay Shrikant Khambekar has received “PCERF – PADMA SHREE  B G SHIRKE VIDYARTHI AWARD 2015-16” under  post graduate project on “Enhanced and Modelling of Bioreactor Landfill’’

2014-15

  • A group of 20 students from SE and TE of Department of Civil Engineering participated in ROAR, which was an initiative of Techfest, organized by IIT Powai. ROAR was an initiative for uplifting and empowering women. The students visited Zilla Parishad schools, conducted a public awareness drive, performed street plays across the city, helped to form an association named ‘Hirkani Griha Udyog’ for self-sufficiency of household women, and many more.  As a result, out of the three tasks set, they stood first in two tasks, out of nearly 67 colleges from all over India!
  • Mr. Pranav Vikas Tagawale represented Savitribai Phule Pune University  and presented the research project in UG category (Engineering and Technology), on the eve of 9th Maharashtra State Inter University Research Convention “AVISHKAR-2014”-‘Create, Sustain & Prosper’ organized by Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur January 21-23, 2015. (After being in the top 3 teams at inter-college level in Pune, and first at the Zonal level under Savitribai Phule Pune University.)

2013-14

  • A group of 69 students from SE and TE civil have participated in IIT Techfest Reformnation, 100 activities covering social and environmental aspect and recurred 6th Rank among 88colleges.

2012-13

  • A group of 49 Students from SE and TE civil have participated in The Green Campus Challenge (TGCC) competition by IIT Bombay and Secured 5th Rank.
  • The students have participated in various technical as well as nontechnical events and they won many prizes, in categories like paper presentation, model making, AutoCAD etc under technical events and nontechnical events organized by different institutions under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune & outside.
