Student Activities

• Sinhgad Student council(SSC): Various activities organized under the banner of SSC are.

Technical Quiz(Brainstorm):

The Technical Quiz for SE,ENTC students was organized on 27^th August 2015.There were four rounds in a quiz attempted by 100 students.

Technical Competition on Multisim(SIMULUS)

For TE students Multisim programming competition was organized for testing their software skills on 15^th of September 15.

Technical Seminars

On 31^st of August 15 the seminar on “How to write a Technical paper” was conducted for SE and TE students by Mr. Vijay Gaikwad ,VIT ,Pune.
On 3^rd September 15 the seminar on “Industrial Automation a-PLC and Robotics” was conducted for BE and TE students by Mr.Udayraj Kalkundre ,ACG Pampac machines Pvt. Ltd ,Pune.
On 4^th Sept. 15 the seminar on “Steps for effective embedded product development” was conducted for SE and TE students by Mr. Satyajeet Pardeshi, Emerson Innovation center ,Pune.
On 9^th Sept. 15 the seminar on “Personality Development” was conducted for SE and TE students by Mr. Rajesh Chavan, Jeevan Sanjeevani center ,Satara.

Chess tournament

The Chess Tournament for all SSC members was organized on 30^th December 2015.There were five rounds in Chess Tournament. All the standard rules of chess were followed for the competition.

Electronic Component Quest

For SE/TE E& T/C students Electronic Component Quest was organized for testing their Electronic skills on 02^nd of January 16.
Telecommunication had organized a ‘ELECTRONIC QUEST’ on 2^ndJanuary, 2016, Saturday in the Seminar hall, SCOE E&TC Department for all SSC members of E&tc Department.
Total 46 students were participated in the tournament. Total 3 round were conducted.

PCB Designing workshop

The PCB Designing workshop for all SSC members of Electronics and Tele-communication department was organized on 13^th & 14^th February, 2016.This workshop was held for two days in which designing ,layout and hardware module were develop by students. The workshop was conducted by the B.E. E&T/C students of SCOE, E&T/C. Omkar Sadegoankar and Sanket Mehta from,B.E. E&T/C took the major responsibility of conducting the workshop. Total 64 students were participated.

• IEEE:It arranges Project, Technical workshop to spread Technical / Science knowledge to students and technical awareness in Urban/ Rural area.

The activities organized during this year are :

Workshop on’ Arduino’ Microcontroller

For TE students Workshop on Arduino Microcontroller was organized for development of Hardware design and software skills on 12 and 13^th September, 2015. Total 30 students participated.

Technical Competition on C Coding(DaWin – C- Code)

For SE students C programming competition was organized for testing their software skills on 8^th Feburary, 2016. Total 60 students participated. There were 3 rounds.

Paper Presentation Contest:

For TE/ B.E. students Technical paper competition was organised for technical awareness and paper writing skill on 18^th March, 2016. Total 19 groups have participated.

Mini Project Competition:

For TE students, Mini project competition was organised for Project building skill on 21, 22, 23 and 24^th March, 2016. Total 60 groups have participated.

Project Competition:

For BE students, Major project competition was organised for Project building skill on 29^th March, 2016. Total 12 groups have participated.

Technical Seminars

On 15th September 15 the seminar on “ HR Opportunities IN Digital Era ” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. Girish Khilari, CDAC ,Pune.
On 3^rd September 15 the seminar on “LATEX – Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. S. V. Tathe, SCOE ,Pune.
On 5^th April 16 the seminar on “Xilinx- Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. Atul Raut, SCOE ,Pune.
On 5^th April 16 the seminar on “Android – Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. A. V. Bankar, SCOE ,Pune.
On 6^th April 16 the seminar on “MATLAB- Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mrs.S. B. Patil, SCOE ,Pune.
On 6^th April 16 seminar on “CAD FEKO – Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. G.N. Gaikwad, SCOE ,Pune.
On 5^th April 16 the seminar on “Xilinx- Software Tool” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. Atul Raut, SCOE ,Pune.
On 23^RD January , 16 the seminar on “Being Professional in VLSI Domain” was conducted for M. E. students by Mr. Mangesh Bhalerao, Elite Plus Semiconductors (Consultant),UK.

• Quantum:

Biannual issues of Quantum publicize important news, inventions related to electronic world. It motivates students for writing, reading good articles. Thus, enhance and update their knowledge.
